CSIT Finland is researching AI-powered automation of access management processes. Access management, or identity and access management, involves numerous processes that require manual work. These processes consume significant working time, delay the activation of user access rights, and may cause information security and data protection risks.
By leveraging artificial intelligence, it is possible to securely analyze, interpret, and execute identity lifecycle operations autonomously. The goal of the research project is to produce solutions that can significantly streamline various aspects of access rights management such as provisioning, role optimization, anomaly detection, and replace manual processes so that the AI solutions created function as additional components in already deployed access rights management solutions.
